Mr. Zhang Benchun

Supervisor

Mr. Zhang Benchun, Chinese, was born in 1950. He holds a Bachelor Degree of Arts majoring in Business Administration from the correspondence education section of the Party School of the Central Committee of Chinese Communist Party, and is a senior engineer. He joined CNOOC in 1984. From 1997 to 1999, he served as Director of CNOOC's Ideological Affairs Department. Mr. Zhang has been General Manager of Audit and Supervision Department of CNOOC since 1999. Since September 2002, he has been Chairman and a supervisor of the Board of Supervisors of COSL.
